Case Summary
The patient, a middle-aged male, had regular dental care throughout his lifetime. At his initial appointment he complained of sensitivity associated with exposed dentin where cervical lesions existed (Figure 1). A previous dentist had filled the lesions (Figure 2), but the treatment failed and the patient was told that he brushed his teeth too hard.
